Contribution in a collaboration project initiated by Anna Koch/Weld. Stockholm, June 2009. Containing a 3-channel video installation projected on transparent plastic, sound and smoke bombs.
In the film “Another Pavilion” a number of practitioners within architecture, art, music, dance and performance were invited to research, change and occupy a location in Stockholm. The events occurred as a natural part of the site's daily life, were documented and turned into a movie where you can take part of seven different operations, processes and events that all had their starting point in the common location. A place that invites to freely associate into new opportunities and ideas. The project is part of a research on abandoned or unused places in the city and explores its history, characteristics and function in order to deepen, differentiate and appreciate them anew. The pavilion was built and donated to the City of Stockholm in 1988 by the environmental and cultural society the “Tanto-people”.
